A caregiver is anyone caring for a family member; that could look like caring for a parent with dementia, a spouse navigating a chronic condition, or a sibling with substance use disorder. There are seasons where care occurs in our home and others where we provide for someone financially or long-distance. Family has many faces and caregiving is more expansive than employers often think, impacting nearly every employee at some point (or many points) over a career.
